When the “Great Flood of 2010” (AKA “H2O10”) hit Nashville last week, the Cumberland River crested at 51.86 feet, or 11.86 feet above high flood stage. That is about 33 inches above the floor of our office/warehouse building, which backs up to the Cumberland.
The flood left us with a “bit of a mess” that we will be dealing with for quite a while… HOWEVER, we are still OPEN FOR BUSINESS! We had 4 events on the books for last week, and we completed them all successfully. The next two weeks are also busy production weeks.
We now have internet back up, and hope to have a phone or two by Monday (meanwhile, our cell phone numbers are on the voicemail recording). Many thanks to all of the folks who have called or emailed with expressions of concern and offers to help. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
